Q: does this unit idle down under low draw?

Asked by: FRED M STRAUB - 9/8/2023
A: Thanks for your question. The generator does not idle down when the engine like how our inverter generators do, but you can tell when the load is high because the engine will go into a higher RPM.

Q: How do I connect this to a propane tank?

Asked by: Mike - 3/22/2023
A: The dual-fuel Generator model will come with a propane hose and regulator for a standard size tank (20 lbs tank, 5 gallons of propane). You can setup much larger tanks, as long as you also provide a larger propane regulator that is sized appropriately.

Q: can I run hold house except for A/C unit. I have a 6000 all power propane generator which is economical, 5 gal last 11 hours and 15 min.

Asked by: Wally - 3/15/2023
A: 6000 watts is a good amount of power, will run refrigerator and most essentials okay. You would want to run electronics (computer equipment) on an inverter generator or something with tighter voltage regulations, but appliances would be fine here. You don't want to have the generator running at max load for extended periods of time, but if you needed power for a few days, this generator size will get you by. Best bet is to make a list of your equipment and the starting amps to run it, once everything is started fine then continuous power is no problem.
