Q: Is this unit self feeding

Asked by: Mark - 5/21/2023
A: The wood chipper is considered "self-feeding" as you simply place the wood branches into the vertical intake chute and the woodchipper will automatically pull in branches and other wood debris without requiring the user to manually feed them into the blades or perform manual labor to crank a handle or turn a wheel. The operator can then focus on the pace of feeding material into a vertical feed chute which is angled downward at a steep angle, which allows gravity to help pull in the wood. As the wood lowers down the chute, it comes into contact with a set of sharp blades that chop it into small pieces. These pieces are then expelled out of the machine through a discharge chute. Self-feeding wood chippers are commonly used by homeowners and landscapers to quickly and efficiently dispose of yard waste.

Q: are any models available with electric start, large gas tank, 2" trailer hitch and a weatherproof cover?

Asked by: hypernez - 5/16/2023
A: The trailer hitch is designed according to the equipment weight, so it comes with a 1 7/8" (small) coupler for a ball hitch. Perhaps there is an after market item to use a 2" ball hitch, but we do not offer that or the weather cover. This model does have electric start included with 1.71 gallon fuel tank, which should give you plenty of hours to shredd! Let us know if you have more questions, thank you so much.
