Q: I have a Gentron 12000 watt stand-by generator ( GG12000GLC) . I recently had to replace the battery and it was brought to my attention that perhaps I wasn’t keeping a battery trickle charger on said generator. I start and run it monthly because we have occasional outages in our area. I was under the impression that the battery would recharge when generator is running as most all electric start equipment does. Nowhere in the manual does it say anything about this . Can you be of any assistance in this matter ? Thank you, Gary.
